A few simple rules to keep everyone happy

Arrival and Departure: On arrival, please follow signs to the Mendip Lodge. Please note, the main Activity Centre will not be able to check you in. Campers can check-in anytime after 2pm and check in is open until 8pm. If you are delayed you will still be welcome to camp but your vehicle may not be allowed on-site as we restrict vehicle access and movements after dark. We have someone onsite 24/7 to support you if required.

Noise: We are a family campsite. Please keep noise to a level which will not disturb other site users, especially between 10.00pm and 8.00am.

Respect: Alcohol is permitted on site and we encourage you to enjoy a drink around the campfire responsibly. Obviously, as a family site, we do not tolerate anti-social behaviour of any kind. Please leave your pitch tidy with all rubbish and recycling in appropriate bins. We make every effort to keep the site facilities clean, tidy and safe. We ask for your assistance in maintaining this standard. If you find anything not quite right, please let one of our team know.

Tent Distance: Please pitch at least 6 metres between tents of different groups and at least 3m between tents of the same group.

Safety: Speed limit on site is 5mph.

Fires & BBQ's: Controlled fires and BBQ's are allowed if they are raised off the ground and are in a suitable container. Fire pits are available for hire. Firewood and charcoal are available to buy. You can bring your own charcoal but, due to the status of our ancient woodland, please do not bring your own firewood or forage for wood. Please dispose of ash responsibly in the bins provided when the ash is cold.

Dogs: Friendly dogs are allowed to accompany campers for an additional small fee. Dogs must be kept under control or on a lead whilst on site as there is livestock in the adjacent fields. Please be courteous and always clean up after your dog. Dogs are not permitted in our bunkhouse tents or in Mendip Lodge room bookings.

Accessibility: We are very fortunate to be situated in such a stunning location set in the Mendip Hills. Unfortunately, this does come with its limitations in terms of accessibility. Regrettably, our campsite is not suited for wheelchair users or individuals with disabled mobility. Please contact us if you require more information.
